SUMMARY

Set up a tutoring payment workflow with lesson packages, scheduling, parent communication, and a record of completed sessions.

Tutoring fits the appointment-based use cases described in Whop’s Calendar Bookings guide. A useful offer explains the subject, learner level, session format, and what happens between lessons. The goal is to make buying legitimate teaching straightforward, without promising a grade or selling completed academic work.

Describe a learning service

A “four algebra lessons” offer is easier to assess when it names the intended level and format. Explain whether the first session includes an assessment, what materials the learner provides, and whether practice feedback is included between meetings.

Whop’s business restrictions prohibit academic fraud, including completing academic work for hire. Keep the offer focused on explanation, practice, and learning. Do not position tutoring as having someone else finish an assignment or exam.

Make package accounting simple

Four illustrative lessons at $45 each cost $180. After one lesson is delivered and another is rescheduled, three lessons remain undelivered; a moved appointment is not automatically a completed lesson. Apply your disclosed policy consistently and keep attendance separate from payment status.

Whop’s Calendar Bookings guide explains duration, pricing, and availability. Its pricing documentation covers one-time and recurring products. Choose whether the package or the individual booking collects money so a learner is not charged twice.

Our calendar guide walks through that handoff. A recurring subscription is only appropriate when the learner understands the ongoing service and renewal terms.

Keep parent and learner roles clear

For younger learners, confirm the appropriate account, consent, and communication arrangements under the platform’s terms and your local requirements. The person paying may not be the person attending. Make sure appointment instructions and payment records reach the right adult without exposing another student’s information.

Keep educational records private. A shared resource area can contain materials you own or have permission to distribute, but it should not become a place to post identifiable student work without the necessary permission.

Account for preparation time

A forty-five-minute lesson with fifteen minutes of preparation occupies an hour. At the example price, that is $45 gross per working hour before fees and other costs. Detailed marking outside the lesson adds more time; either include a defined allowance or offer it separately.

Start with one subject and a small package. Ask whether the learner can find the meeting, understand the next practice task, and see how many lessons remain. Expand only once the process works.

Read the service-business guide, then create a Whop business through AdsX’s referral link if its booking and payment tools fit your tutoring offer.
